Arthrogram Procedures at Access MRI:
An MR Arthrogram is a procedure where fluid (dye) is injected directly into the joint before the MRI is performed. This form of imaging is used to look at joints, cartilage, and ligaments at a more detailed level.
You can expect the injection procedure to take less than 15 minutes, with MR imaging afterwards taking between 45 minutes to an hour.
- You will be contacted prior to your appointment to make sure everything is ready to go for your procedure.
- You can expect the procedure to take about 30 minutes.
- After the procedure, you will be provided with instructions and information about when to resume activities.
