COVID-19 UPDATES

An important message to our patients.

MR Arthrogram

Arthrogram examinations are provided when requested by a physician on your behalf.

Important: Your doctor may provide you with a completed request form, or you can print this form and have your doctor fill it out.

Arthrogram Procedures at Access MRI:

An MR Arthrogram is a procedure where fluid (dye) is injected directly into the joint before the MRI is performed. This form of imaging is used to look at joints, cartilage, and ligaments at a more detailed level.

You can expect the injection procedure to take less than 15 minutes, with MR imaging afterwards taking between 45 minutes to an hour.

  • You will be contacted prior to your appointment to make sure everything is ready to go for your procedure.
  • You can expect the procedure to take about 30 minutes.
  • After the procedure, you will be provided with instructions and information about when to resume activities.
